We opened the shop to keep a calm place for notebooks, letter paper, and writing tools you can touch before you buy. The canal location suits slow browsing — come in for a refill, a gift, or a few minutes at the test pad.

Stock is curated rather than endless. We favour mills and makers who publish honest paper specs, and we reorder what people actually use rather than chasing every seasonal print.
